Occam provides online pre-course assessment for participants to collect information on their cross cultural experiences, requirements, and personal cultural expectations.

The participant responses are used to ensure that course content is appropriate, and relevant as well as to present the differences and similarities between the participants responses and typical Chinese/foreign national responses. This comparison helps to establish which areas are most likely to cause difficulties while interacting across cultures.
